Net sales for the Company’s Monster Energy® Drinks segment, which primarily includes the Company’s Monster Energy® drinks, Reign Total Body Fuel® high performance energy drinks and Reign Storm® Total Wellness energy drinks, increased 11.2 percent to $1.56 billion for the 2023 first quarter, from $1.40 billion for the 2022 first quarter. Net sales for the Company’s Monster Energy® Drinks segment, which primarily includes the Company’s Monster Energy® drinks, Reign Total Body Fuel® high performance energy drinks and True North® Pure Energy Seltzer energy drinks, increased 20.0 percent to $1.40 billion for the 2022 first quarter, from $1.17 billion for the 2021 first quarter.

The beverage has a hard 6% alcohol, and to keep things lighter nutritionally, it has absolutely no sugar in its standard 16oz and slim 12oz cans. As far as flavors go, Monster’s foray into alcohol will have four to choose from in Mean Green, White Haze, and the two more fruity-sounding creations in Scary Berries and Peach Perfect.

Currently, energy drink flavors tend to be dominated by fruity varieties, but having the flavor technologies plus Monster's resources under one roof could foster a new wave of tastes.
Java is missing some discontinued flavors: Originale, Russian Blend, Chai Hai, Nut Up, Big Black, - and a couple that are still around - Vanilla Lite (a.k.a. Lo-Bal) and Salted Caramel.
