After the easy to do firmware update no more freezing (it only froze the one time anyway). I highly recommend this GoPro as a dash cam. Set it to the Super View setting. Video quality is very good if not great. Well worth it for what it does and such a low price. I prefer this as a dash cam over the HERO3 Black + for reasons stated above already.
